Iranian Boats 'Provoke' US Navy Ships in Hormuz "Five Iranian Revolutionary Guard boats harassed and provoked three U.S. Navy ships in the Strait of Hormuz, a major oil shipping route off the Iranian coast, over the weekend, CNN reported on Monday. Citing unidentified U.S. officials, CNN said the Iranian vessels came within 200 yards (meters) of the U.S. ships in international waters in the strait on Saturday, and U.S. sailors came close to opening fire." Reuters (1/7/08) Meanwhile US confronts Iran on the international stage. What Is This Iranian Provocation BS? "Not one news story about this weeks latest chapter in the administrations ongoing effort to gin up a crazy war with Iran-the so-called "provocation" caused by Iranian naval speedboats approaching within 200 meters of a US destroyer-mentioned that the US, which sits some 7500 miles away from Iran, has sent a whole fully-armed armada into the Persian Gulf just off Irans coast.
GOP candidate Ron Paul's supporters say change, not winning, is the ...
Ron Paul represents that sense of freedom," a giddy Halldorson said. For many, it was Paul's strong anti-war views that stirred them to act. "That was part of my appeal in supporting him. He was the only one who voted against the Iraq War, and the only one committed to bringing the troops home," Thomann said. "Do I think we need to be out of Iraq? Absolutely," said Jatib. Paul also is an alternative to those unhappy with the present political system. "As to Democrats and Republicans, it's hard to tell the two apart anymore. Ron Paul's kind of filled in the void," said David Stenger, 31, Fort Lauderdale, a computer network analyst and precinct leader. "He's really speaking for change, while the other candidates are just products of the machine." For Jatib too, a voice for change was more crucial than victory.
The Curse of Atomic Weapons and Power
America, right now, is poisoning the area known as the cradle of civilization. We grew up calling it Mesopotamia. The name Iraq doesn't convey its 10,000+ year history of human settlement. An interesting side-effect of our use of Depleted Uranium weapons is that, because of their extraordinarily-long half-life of four and a half billion years, the evidence of our assault on civilians who have not even been born yet, will be detectable (with sophisticated equipment) for about 50 to 100 billion years. The earth is only about 5 billion years old, according to the geological record! Two, or ten, or a hundred generations from now, or a thousand, anyone will be able to find clear evidence of our use of uranium weaponry. Uranium fragments. Deformities among the local population. All these things will be discernable.

Obama wins South Carolina primary
It's my estimation this was all a very well constructed attack plan by Oprah's gigantic, & extremely well oiled multimedia machine, when she decided to influence the next presidential election, with her power parlay move. And to these same throngs of mindless Obamabots who keep bringing up this "experience issue" when comparing Hillary to Obama, one only has to compare the first day of occupancy of the next couple to get into the White House with all previous couples who've occupied the White House to understand how experience matters. On day one, the Obama's wouldn't even register on a comparison scale, while the Clintons could quite possibly beat *all* previous presidential couples who've occupied the White House in terms of experience, ability, & power. I hope this clears up this experience issue for you now.
